USABA Seeks Applicants for January 2018 Residential Goalball Training Program Cycle

The United States Association of Blind Athletes (USABA), in conjunction with Turnstone, operates a long-term residential goalball training program for men and women in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  This comprehensive program provides selected athletes the opportunity to enhance playing skills in an environment geared to individual needs and with the objective of developing them for future world championship or Paralympic team participation.  Training will be conducted in 10-week cycles that generally include 5 days of court time per week and a rigorous in-and-out of season individual strength and conditioning program.

USABA is now accepting applications for the training cycle to begin in early January 2018.  Applicants must already be competing and training as a goalball athlete.  For additional details of the program and application instructions, please refer to the attached document.  The application deadline is November 17.2017. Because of the competitive nature of the program, late applications will not be accepted.
