2022 National Goalball Championships

USABA is pleased to be hosting the 2022 National Goalball Championships, July 15-17, at Turnstone Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The USABA National Goalball Championships have not been held since the 2019 version in Smyrna, Georgia, last staged at Turnstone in 2018.

“For the first time in three years we welcome goalball teams from across the country to come together as a community in the spirit of competition and celebration,” said USABA CEO Molly Quinn. “The pandemic put a pause on this annual event the last two years which will make this year’s national championships even more special and exciting. We look forward to supporting this summer’s high-level goalball competition at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site at Turnstone.”

In 2019, there were a record 25 teams that took part in the national championships and we hope to break that record with the 2022 event.

“Turnstone and Fort Wayne are proud to welcome the USABA National Goalball Championships back to the Summit City,“ said Mike Mushett, Turnstone Center CEO. “Celebrating goalball athletes from across the country is an exciting opportunity to showcase all that the sport has to offer.”
