USABA Scholarship Program
USABA is pleased to announce the 2021 USABA Scholarship Program, including the I C You Foundation Valor Achievement Award. The Valor Achievement Award will be awarded to one male and one female athlete, each in the amount of $500. The deadline to apply is July 31, 2021.
The I C You Foundation Valor Achievement Award is made possible through the generosity of the I C You Foundation and is awarded annually by USABA and the I C You Foundation, Inc. Applicants who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply.
- Legally blind
- Enrolled in a two or four-year college, university or technical school
- Current cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Current USABA member
Applicants for the scholarship should send the following information via email to Marybai Huking at mhuking@usaba.org.
- Current college or university
- Brief cover letter and personal biography including your involvement with sport and USABA
- Essay of no more than 300 words about the role and importance of sport in your life
