Three-time Paralympian, Beth Scott won 17 Paralympic medals (10 gold, 2 silver, 5 bronze) over the course of her athletic career and is a two-time recipient of the United States Olympic Committee’s Blind Athlete of the Year Award. The Barcelona 1992 Paralympic Games were her most successful, winning seven gold medals and setting seven world records. Upon retirement from the Paralympic pool, Scott directed her passion for sports to the USABA Board of Directors where she served as a member from 2004 to 2009. Currently, Scott serves the Department of Defense at Washington Headquarters Services as an events logistics coordinator where she plans and promotes special events at the Pentagon and other DoD installments.
